Oconee County is working in partnership with surrounding counties for the development of Georgia’s Innovation Crescent, a multi-county region focusing on enhancing and sustaining a life science corridor. The Innovation Crescent connects communities near the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech and Emory University. This region combines research and development activities with workplace skills possessed by the general population.
